Thanks to the team at Driveway Mobile Mechanics. I was referred to Driveway Mobile Mechanics by a friend. We made the booking on our Ford with minimal notice, prior to the busy Christmas period. Driveway Mobile Mechanics were able to meet the appointment at the time most convenient for our busy schedule. With a young family it's often inconvenient to get the car to a dealership or a mechanic's workshop, so it's great to find a Mobile mechanic that offers; - a great service, - a knowledgeable, experienced motor mechanic being sent to site - using quality components - all at a great price. We will definitely be using Driveway Mobile Mechanics for our vehicles in the future & highly recommend this business.

Simon's back-office called me straight away and scheduled in a time. We discussed the variables with the costings for alternators. There appear to be many types and costings for the VWs! Simon dropped over on the Saturday morning and arrived in a very timely manner. He tested the alternator and we also discussed the problems that I'd experienced plus the works that NRMA had completed. He and his back-office then tried to source the correct alternator, but owing to the fact that the VW is a 1999 model, they could not get the right one for my VW model on the weekend. They located the alternator on Monday, called me and re-booked for the Wednesday. Simon was here for just a little over an hour and he left the work place and my vehicle nice and tidy. How wonderful to have a mobile service come out and assist, without having to tow the vehicle into a service centre! So much easier! Simon knows his stuff, has worked in the industry for about 30 years and has operated his own mobile service now for many years. I would not hesitate to call on him again and would recommend his services highly! Thank You Simon!

For 4 months or so I had been having an issue with my car. It was making a really loud noise in the engine sounded like metal rubbing against metal. I had the vehicle serviced by NRMA however, they did not pick up on the noise (it was pretty loud don't know how they didn't). Called Driveway mobile mechanics and spoke to Teresa who organised for my vehicle to be looked at by Simon. Simon, came out the very next day and had a look- he told me a time that we agreed upon and came out fixed my car. I will definitely be using Simon in the future as my mechanic. Very honest and very professional. Teresa organised for everything to be done in a timely manner. Thank you Teresa and Simon.

Very happy with the service. We were completely stuck after the NRMA couldn't fix our car issue nor were we able to tow the car out of the wet and steep driveway. Driveway Mobile Mechanics came to the rescue, fixed the problem and explained what had gone wrong and also other potential problems with the car. Definitely recommend the service.

where do I start. A single woman who been taken for ride many times by mechanics. Then recently I find out about Driveway Mobile M. and met Simon. He gave me early appointment and showed up on my driveway on the dot. He check the car out, make a 30 minutes of work and didn't charge me. The week before I was at mechanice who charged me $279.00 on my credit card completely seperate from the other charges, hoping I don't find out which I did. Finally found a great mechanic in sydney. Simon was able to diagnose the issue and fix my car in minutes. He was also able to address another issue with my car which has been stumping a number of other mechanics at my expense. Very personable, approachable and is well priced. Wow was I happy to hear the sound of my car turn over. I had called Simon after finding him on the web. He came told me the problem, my fuel pump had gone. He gave me a cost and said he'd return the next day. Sure enough he arrived and spent the time needed to fix the pump. He gave me great advice and a car that worked again. He fixed an issue with my Suzuki Jimny that'd cost me hundreds of dollars in pointless visits to local mechanics. After wasting time leaving my car in the workshops to have no result after days without a car I decided to use a mobile mechanic. After the debacle with the other mechanics I'd researched what the problem could be, and bought a part to try and see if it would fix it. He didn't try to charge extra as some others did when I rang up, just agreed to do it for a reasonable fee, and did it. I was so pleased with him I had a service done and a few other things. I have since given his number to my in-laws and we will be using him again. Highly recommended
